Liam McGrathWe’re delighted to premiere Aero’s latest release ‘Krow’. Aero is an act we see having a massive year and someone who is highly involved in the Irish music community. The Human Error resident is no stranger to Irish clubs and with releases of this standard, we see this being a large year for the Dublin native.
Aero has recently shared lineups with Sunil Sharpe, B Traits, Cleric, Defekt, Jks, Mayeul, DJ Seinfeld and Shlomo. Having graduated as both student of the year and DJ battle winner under Sunil Sharpe in BIFE, Aero boasts a quick and relentless DJ sets. Aero recently released on Australian label Clip.art under his ‘Patrice and Evra’ alias with Dylan Forbes. Along with this Aero has an albums worth of unreleased which we can hope to see to fruition this year.
The thunderous track begins with a calm lofi-esque intro which is then interrupted by a more familiar ‘Aero’ style of production, heavy broken kicks and notable highs join in while the calm continues with the soothing melody. The introduction of a looping vocal sample changes the feel of the track again before the drop three minutes in brings in a heavier sound, adding to the excitement of the track. This then leads to the introduction of a ferocious acid line which we see captivating the listener. Although it may put you in the mood to go out, it’s a good track to lift your spirit for what is to come after lockdown.
