At this stage, every techno fan in the world will probably be familiar with French techno party starters Possession and their warehouse events that take place all over Paris and beyond.
As well as throwing raves, Possession also have just launched their brand new label to accompany their party series, with a collection of 5 jam packed Various Artist compilations which kicked off in September. The fivs EP’s feature the likes of I Hate Models, Hector Oaks, Hadone, Inhalt der Nacht, Anetha, 999999999, Irish good guy Myler and of course, AIROD to name but a few.
Hailing from Paris, Dario Brkic aka AIROD is perhaps one of the finest incarnations of what the French techno scene can bring to the table when it comes to turning any cold-walled warehouse into a proper coal-fired furnace. Since he broke through on an international level in 2018 with his debut solo 12″ on Molekül, drawing instant support from the likes of Dasha Rush, Blawan, Randomer, Kobosil, to name but a few, AIROD’s kept forging his own strain of techno, both dark and muscular, blustery and tirelessly corrosive.
