Heavily involved in creating the Detroit sound that we know and love today, alongside legendary acts such as Jeff Mills, Juan Atkins, Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson and Mike Banks, among others, Eddie Fowlkes became known as the Godfather of techno soul.. His latest Volume 3 release, as part of his Knuckle Head series, epitomises this style completely, bringing the soulful grooves and 909s heat to the summer sounds. Due out at the end of June we premiere the second track from the EP, ‘You Know’?.
Always one to be in the studio, Eddie has continued to create, push boundaries, and release music on his two imprints (City Boy Records and Detroit Wax Records), moving dance floors worldwide with his career spanning 30+ years.
‘You Know!’ is a Detroit house track that’s telling you to get on the floor, freak it out, sweat your ass off, because… well, you know! This is a summer jam and we love it.
