Today, we welcome Sligo born, but Dublin based DJ and producer, Gavin Rochford. Over the last few years, Gavin has worked on his production skills, while pushing his DJ output in his new home of Dublin. Gavin can be found playing with the Melodic crew where he has become a trusted resident of their long running events and club night.
As a resident DJ of Melodic, this has seen Gavin support some of the biggest names in melodic house, from Sebastien Leger and Matthias Meyer, to Guy J and Henry Saiz on a regular basis. This, coupled with his production skills, has seen Gavin release on labels like Sound Avenue and ICONYC, while also most recently, catching the eye of Henry Saiz‘ Natura Sonoris label, winning their Quarantine Demo competition and due to release a track on the label later this year.
Now, after the madness of lockdown, his time in isolation is bearing fruit, as Gavin’s 3-track EP, which is a self release, will be out this coming Friday [June 26th]. Of the 3 tracks on the EP, we’re delighted to premier the lead track, ‘Tizindeed‘. You can pick up this excellent EP via Gavin’s Bandcamp account here.
