We premiere another release from the What Goes Up Various Artist release, as Galway producer GES contributes his track ‘Must Come Down’ track to their eclectic 11 track compilation, in aid of Scottish mental health charity, SAMH.

GES, who is a 21 year old from DJ and producer from Galway, contributes his track ‘Must Come Down’, which is full on dreamy and atmospheric track, with hard drums and ravey synths throughout, making this a fine contribution to this compilation.

With a monthly radio show locked in with Project Radio, plus a string of releases planned for the year, we hope to see and hear a lot more from the talented young producer.

The What Goes Up label is an Edinburgh based collective, focusing on promoting the best underground electronic music, both home and abroad, as their latest Various Artist compilation goes to show.

The label and artists will be donating all the proceeds from the release to the Scottish charity, SAMH. You can support the full release here.

From the label:

We’re absolutely ecstatic, proud and everything in between to bring you the What Goes Up “VA Compilation – In Aid of SAMH” featuring superbly fresh & outright banging tracks sourced from some of the most talented upcoming producers this isle has to offer.

The biggest killer of men under 45 is suicide. When choosing a charity for this project, we wanted all profits raised go towards addressing the “taboo” topic of mental health and to assist in fighting the ongoing and the undiscriminating battle in any way we could. SAMH is the Scottish Association for Mental Health, a local charity to us who are focused on providing support and breaking the negative stigmas associated with how we open up about our mental health. If you wish to donate without purchasing the entire album you can do so through our Just Giving page here.
