Karl Guest is a familiar name and face for most interested in electronic music in Ireland, Karl is a long serving player and began his DJ career as a resident for TOAST and has since gone on to be a festival staple. After a brief hiatus, Karl is back with a four track EP on 2Suite. This will mark his first release since ‘Sentiment’ over a year ago.
The EP includes three of his own productions and a remix by Midweek, the duo consisting of SHEE and Chaz Moloney. We’re delighted to be bringing you the premiere of the opening track ‘Uluru’.
This is a track that stood out to us when listening to the EP for its euphoric and uplifting nature, the near minute long breakdown in the track is a thought provoking yet comforting combination of pads and an Italo-inspired synth lead. A trance inducing take on classic house, with a melodic edge. Guaranteed to make you hug your mates at a rave.
