Karl GuestPADDY is without doubt one of the brightest up and coming talents in the UK at the moment, receiving massive support from the likes of Patrick Topping and some of the top artists on the circuit at the moment.
The last year has seen the Manchester native play all across the UK, appearing on lineups with Warehouse Project and alongside some of the biggest names in the industry, not to mention a mini-tour of Australia. There’s much more on the horizon for the young producer and we’ve been keeping close tabs on his progress as he continues to rise through the ranks both at home and abroad.
We’ve been lucky enough to pick up the second of two tracks on his new EP. ‘Against Time’ is a testament to his hard work in and out of the studio and flexes his musical knowledge beyond the disco house sound he’s become so well-known for.
We can hear the sounds of early Chicago house on this one as well as a dreamy arp and acid bassline that calls to mind some 80’s Italo Disco/Electro records.
