We pick our favourites to see at one of Europe’s biggest and well-respected festivals, ADE.

ADE proves itself every year as one of the must go festivals of the year with a huge line up every year, that certainly caters to everyone’s tastes. It runs from Wednesday 16th until Sunday, the 20th of October as it hosts over 1000 events in just under 200 locations around Amsterdam. As ADE describe it “the city of Amsterdam breathes electronic music for five days and nights.”

Dax J – Gashouder – Wednesday (Night) 16th October

The formidable techno producer and DJ has made his way into nearly every record collection with unforgiving techno productions and finely crafted sets. Catch him in Gashouder on Wednesday night for a night of high energy techno.

Ben UFO – Elementenstraat – Saturday (Day) 19th October

Hailed as one of the best selectors on the circuit, Ben UFO aka Ben Thomson has been wowing crowds with his technically gifted mixing techniques and pin perfect selections. Catch Ben UFO in Elementenstraat on Saturday Day for some of the finest.

Airod – Elementenstraat – Saturday (Night) 19th October

The French techno artist broke through onto the international scene in 2018 with a forceful and hard hitting techno. Continuing on getting the recognition he deserves, Airod has gone from strength to strength since 2018, be sure to catch him in Elementenstraat this Saturday night.

Industrialyzer – De Marktkantine – Wednesday 16th October

Dutch artist, Industrialyzer brings his Berlin styled techno to ADE this year for the Pan-pot presents show in De Marktkantine. A history of uplifting as well as dark techno, Industrialyzer is an interesting one to go see.

DJ Boring – Thuishaven – Saturday 19th October

The man from down under brings his fun packed and electric set to ADE this year. A consistent promise of memorable techno tracks and some crowd lifting moments, DJ Boring is must see. Catch him in Thuishaven on Saturday.

DJ Sneak – Thuishaven – Saturday 19th October

One of the Chicago House scenes finest, DJ Sneak has become a staple name in the Chicago dance music scene with a life time of huge successes through innovative productions and sets. Catch him in Thuishaven on Saturday.

I Hate Models – Amsterdam Studios & H7 Warehouse – Thursday 17th & Sunday 20th October

Famously closing the festival last year, his set was hailed far and wide for its voracity and overall selection. No doubt he will do the same when he plays two parties this ADE, Amsterdam Studios and H7 Warehouse this Thursday and Sunday.

VTSS – H7 Warehouse – Sunday 20th October

The Polish artist’s explosion onto the scene this year has taken Europe by storm. Her mark has most definitely been left with her hair raising techno which you can get a glimpse of at H7 Warehouse on Sunday.
