Event news has been few and far between in Ireland, but in the recent months and weeks we’ve begun to see a trickling of different events popping up from various corners of the country and with comparatively innovative events to what we may be used to.

This time it’s Galway promoters ‘The Basement Project’ who step up with a daytime open-air. The ‘Sunday Yard Party’ will take place on the 19th of September at the party’s home, ‘Club Aras Na Gael’.

The limited capacity outdoor event sparks the first yard party for the collective in just under two years. The Galway based party enthusiasts present a sunshine filled day, sound-tracked by smooth sounds as their residents provide the finest cuts of disco, world, hip-hop, house party classics and more. As always the music will be flowing through their famous function-one sound system to provide the ultimate yard party experience.

Starting the party early may mean you might get a tad peckish throughout the day but The Basement Project have you covered with a guest BBQ on the day which yet to be announced.

Other than burgers on the day you can expect to find hear music from TripdiscO, OoTEP, Murch, Patrick Murray, Remoter Society and Dean. Gates are 3pm on the day and admission is €7.
