In what’s becoming a bit of a ritual, Hangar are playing host to the Champions League final this weekend, with the warehouse being decked out as a fan zone for the Liverpool fans scattered across Dublin city as the Scousers take on Real Madrid in Kiev this Saturday.

Hangar is well noted for its infamous resident nights that have included ourselves and Techno & Cans to name a few almost every weekend, and the venue has played host to some of the biggest names in house and techno such as Dax J, I Hate Models and many, many more. Despite its looming closure, it has still maintained a busy schedule that includes an upcoming date with acid sensations 999999999.

On top of all the venue’s electronic music ventures it has developed quite the reputation for hosting some sporting events that are particularly pertinent to Irish sporting fans; from the country’s exploits in football and rugby, to more recent Champions League showdowns that have included Liverpool, who themselves boast a notable Irish following.

As always is the case with these rather unique events, there will be DJs on hand before, after and at half time to keep all fans occupied with their dance classic needs, not to mention the offer of a free pint of Carlsberg or Guinness on entry for any ticket holders.

You can join the event here for more info on Saturday nights unique marriage between clubland and football.
