With Stranger, Planetary Assault Systems, Mumdance & Sunil Sharpe all announced for Higher Vision, it’s looking like one of the heaviest hitting lineups that’s going to hit the country this Summer. Said techno heavyweights are joined on the lineup by house legend John Digweed as well as Route 94 and Sam Paganini along with electro legend Vitalic.

Their most recent announcement serves to bolster the techno aspect of their lineup even more as they have just added Clergy front man Cleric to the upcoming roster. The UK producer is one of the most respected rising techno artists, whose sound is unmissable with huge tracks such as ‘2nd Limit’ and ‘Sigmund’.

The timing of the announcement couldn’t be any better as he is just coming off the release of a brand new EP on Slam’s legendary Soma record label today. The EP is his second appearance on the Scottish label, with his last offering being a huge success featuring tracks like ‘Dualistic Soul’ and ‘Getting Nowhere’.

This follows his collaborative EP with Setaoc Mass on his own imprint Clergy, which has featured plenty of material from Cleric himself, as well as EPs with Dax J and Reflec, both of whom are close collaborators with the man in question.

Cleric’s addition strengthens an already diverse lineup and makes the festival even more exciting than it was already shaping up to be. After massive shows with Research and Techno & Cans in both Hangar and 39/40 it’s fair to say that he has become quite a favourite with the Irish crowd over the past few years.

Higher Vision’s second installment will take place on the 30th of June in the new location of Navan Racecourse, you can get your hands on tickets via their Facebook page here.
