The news was already confirmed last week, when the government announced gatherings of over 5000 people were to be banned due to the Covid-19 pandemic sweeping the globe.
The festival, which was due to take place in Navan this June, had already announced deadmau5 as their headliner, with Robert Hood announced shortly after for this year’s event, with many more house and techno acts in the pipeline, but alas, the festival season has come to an abrupt halt around the country and globe, due to safety restrictions with the ongoing Coronavirvus.
See Higher Vision update below.
Following last week’s announcement by the Irish Government to ban mass gatherings of over 5000 people, we are devastated to announce this year’s edition of Higher Vision Festival has been forced to be postponed to June 19th 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
On a happier note we are delighted to announce that our headliner deadmau5 has agreed to move to this date for us and all tickets for this year’s edition are valid for 2021.
Although we are incredibly saddened by this news, we completely support the decision of the Government in these unprecedented and uncertain times as the safety, health & well-being of all is our main concern. As a small independent Irish Festival, this is now a severely challenging time for us and we appreciate all of your support & understanding.
All ticket holders will be contacted directly by email with further details in the coming days.
We urge you all to continue with the social distancing measures and would also like to give our sincere thanks to the heroic frontline staff fighting this pandemic. Stay home, stay safe, look after yourselves & your loved ones.
See you next year, Higher Vision Team.
