A range of Irish DJs and collectives have joined forces in establishing ‘Nexus’, a club night which aims to display the pool of Irish musical talent abroad in which they can showcase their artistry to European audiences. Nexus 001 has just been announced and will take place next month during the August Bank Holiday weekend.
The first instalment of Nexus; a Irish-Berlin club night initiative is due to take place at M01 next month. M01 is the sister venue to acclaimed venues ELSE and Renate and inherits much of the same charm from both spaces. The collaboration brings together a wealth of Irish artists and promoters who are looking to cut their teeth in an environment that enables dance music events to flourish.

The initiative is co-run by a host of Irish parties that include Hidden Love, Undivided, Syncopated, Dollhaus, Elision, Bare Bones, Intrinsic Rhythm, Basement Project, Remote Society, Aduanine, Twn Cndg Rcrds, Planet Dub, Kriptik and Circuit Structure Records.
Nexus’ inaugural lineup features a range of compelling Irish acts which include numerous stalwarts and staples of the Irish dance music scene in Aero, Aoise, Ayolxi, Billy Spike Iiland, Chaz Moloney, DoilĂ©ir, Emmie, Fayeolo, Fyun, Hooligan, Jack Devine, Jack Nolan, Jenten, Jon Hussey, Kask, Meda-Ava, Pageone, Offtrack, Pincer Movement, Remote Society, Rustal, Spedned, Taurean and Tr One. The event kicks off at 4pm on Friday, August 2nd and will run until midday on Saturday, August 3rd.
