Every track has been handpicked for its intensity, intelligence, and production skill, developed for a post industrial setting, and brimming with energy. Future Sounds Vol. 3 skims the surface of the techno scene with tracks from seasoned Gobsmacked artists as well as newcomers finally joining the label.
Techno has burst from the underground and taken roots in large-scale festivals and warehouse events across the globe in the past decade. Gobsmacked has been ahead of the curve, serving as a hub for emerging artists making sense of this transition that has elevated techno from dark basements to big room heights. The Berlin based label was founded here in Ireland in 2006 and has since moved it’s operations, while continuing to support Irish talent. Jack is joined by fellow Irishmen, and label heads Diamaid O Meara and Millhouse and also Mark Rogan.
