Staff WriterDerry’s Jika Jika Festival has been shortlisted for Europe’s Best New Festival
This year saw another successful edition of Jika Jika’s Festival in Ebrington Square in Derry. The lineup catered to most electronic music fans with two days of carefully curated lineups. The first day seen Mall Grab curate the main stage forming a lineup of himself, Special Request, Brame & Hamo B2B Sally C and Nite Fleit, the first day of music was already ready to make an impact. Green Velvet brought his LaLa Land brand to the second day of the festival as he curated the main stage this time around bringing a lineup of himself, Eats Everything, Layton Giordani, Alisha and Opus Klien.
We can only hope one of Ireland’s great festivals gets the recognition it deserves.
