Jon Hopkins announced for show in the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre next year.

Jon Hopkins announces his Polarity tour as it comes to Dublin on the 6th of March 2020. His new tour for 2020 comes after the success of his Singularity Tour in 2018 that seen the UK artist sell our live shows, festival dates and DJ appearances.

Jon is set to play grand piano for parts of the show as well as being joined on stage by a small group of consummate musicians along with long-time friends with the likes of acclaimed producer and guitarist Leo Abrahams, violinist and arranger Emma Smith and cellist Laura Moody.Presenting his live show in seated venues will present a fascinating challenge for both performer and audience. Jon says “Right now I have a set that’s tailored to festivals and to standing crowds and intoxicated people,” he says, “and that’s been amazing, but I would say my deepest nature lies in the stillness, the meditative side of my music.”, it will definitely be an interesting show to attend with the element of mystery around as he delivers something unique to the name Jon Hopkins.

Tickets go on sale for this show on the 13th of September at 10AM and costing €40 inclusive of the booking fee.
