Dublin pop artist Kayleigh Noble begins a new era with the release of her single “Calvin Klein”, arriving March 20. The track is the first taste of her upcoming EP BBKAY, due in May, and marks her most dancefloor-focused work to date.
Building on the world introduced in previous singles “Am I Asleep” and “All Night,” the new track leans into club energy with Baltimore club-inspired rhythms and glossy Y2K pop textures. “Calvin Klein” captures the feeling of queer and feminine rave euphoria. Noble describes it simply as music “for the girls and for the gays.”
Across BBKAY, Noble explores a hyper-online pop landscape shaped by community, viral moments, and digital connection. Her music is designed to exist both on the dancefloor and in the shared energy of online spaces.
After playing festivals last year with longer sets and bigger crowds and stages, it really fuelled a fire for me to do this dance EP. It was the start of a new me, and that birthed BBKAY.
Since emerging with the Hot Mess EP and later releases, including Just A Girl, Noble has become one of Ireland’s most distinctive alt-pop voices. Her collaborations with 1000 Beasts have passed 700,000 streams, and her work has received support from Mixmag, Hot Press, Channel 4 (Frank of Ireland), RTÉ 2FM, Le Future Wave, and Fresh Finds UK.
To do music in such a male-dominated field as a woman, it really stands out seeing your sound being taken well by everyone, and again, why I do it all <3
