Konspiracy Thursday’s, which take place in The Academy on Middle Abbey Street have teamed up the Simon Community charity for their ‘Dance for your Geansaí’ event this thursday.

The goal for this event is to collect new or used clothing such as jackets, coats, hats and scarves for the homeless in Dublin. As we’re all aware the homeless crisis in Dublin is worse than ever and with weather as bad as it is recently and today, more help is definitely needed. This is a concept that was used by ‘All U Need’ in Glasgow recently and had great results in gathering resources for the homeless.

If you’re interested in joining the event and / or donating clothes to the much deserving cause, you can check out the event here for more details.

If you can’t make the event or don’t have any spare clothes to donate, you can check out The Simon Community or Inner City Helping Homeless (ICHH) to find out how to help.
