Sam GreenwoodLe Boom have released their new single, “Guessed”, accompanied by a cinematic music video starring Irish actor Aisling Sharkey, known for her role as Niamh in the latest season of Apple TV’s Ted Lasso, and rising Irish actor Fiachra Corkery.
Directed by Miami-based filmmaker Luca Byrne, the video was shot at Foley’s bar in Inch, County Kerry. It follows two young people from different worlds who find themselves drawn together over the course of one night, with rural Irish nightlife, traditional music sessions and the dance floor providing the backdrop.
“This tune has been a big one for us, and anyone who has come to our Gael Raves over the last couple of years will know all about it,” said Andy from Le Boom. “We felt a normal release wasn’t enough. Me and Christy were chatting, and we thought, why not just make a short film? And that’s what this music video feels like for us.”
The release arrives ahead of a busy period for the Irish act, who are set to play a headline show in London on 15 November. They will follow this with one of their biggest Irish headline shows to date at Dublin’s National Stadium in January 2027.
