Limerick will see a new festival come its way next March

Limerick Electronic Arts Festival (LEAF) comes to the south west next year, bringing a whole new concept to Limerick. Taking place from the 5th of March until the 8th of March, Internationally renowned music artists, leaders in Social Media innovation, E-Sports stars and Innovators in Technology will come to the location of the old Cleeve’s Factory which lays on O’Callaghan Strand, Limerick.

Intersection is a business and creative symposium that will host interviews and panels on topics from “A Digital First Society” and “AI & Art” – Friends or Foes, Sleeptech Workshops and speakers from Facebook, LEGO and the EU along with others.

Creation will attract younger audiences to the festival with talks and panels on E-sports, YouTube, music creation and the world of online collaboration and monetisation from Depop to Spotify.

LEAF will transform into an urban festival setting, with cutting edge installations, events and workshops for people while music fans are entertained by the World’s Best Electronic DJ’s, Digital Artists and more. The free workshops will take place over the course of the weekend, teaching participants in the field of music production, digital art, performance and art monetisation.
