Galway’s very own KETTAMA debuted on the legendary BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix series this weekend. Spanning 2 hours in length it is made up of 50% KETTAMA material with the other half being tracks of friends that have been played in clubs recently. Get comfortable, this gets bumpy!

One of Ireland’s finest musical exports, KETTAMA, made his debut on the globally renowned Essential Mix series last weekend. With KETTAMA being one of Ireland’s leading electronic music talents of our generation that we have to offer, he has once again proved to push the boundaries of what can be achieved as a dance music artist from Ireland.

He supplied BBC Radio 1 with a 2 hour mix filled with original KETTAMA material alongside numerous tracks of those close to him. Some of which include X-Coast, Ben Prophet, X Club., Tommy Holohan and more.

Following his meteoric rise through the Irish dance music industry over the last few years, KETTAMA has gone on to perform all across Ireland, the UK, Australia, America and numerous other European countries and festivals. Some of which include Glastonbury, Melt, Hideout and Beyond The Valley.

Not to mention a Rinse FM residency which has welcomed the likes of Tommy 2000, DJ Speed, DJ Frequency, Lone and many other reputable artists. Boasting releases on Steel City Dance Discs, Shall Not Fade, Homage and Dance Trax while recently starting his new label G-TOWN RECS alongside his musical companion Shampain. The label has seen releases from KETTAMA, X CLUB. and Tommy 2000 since its inception with more releases on the horizon, no doubt.
