The duos dynamic relationship produces a full frenzied array of sets and original content, leaving their unique stamp on the Irish scene and listeners. Their sound is brutal, soul crunching techno that can be expected in all varieties, with previous and future work becoming a familiar name across International waters.
Prior to lockdown and the dance music pause button being pushed, Armed Response Unit were on a roll, supporting techno giants Slam in Index, plus running their hard hitting ‘Speed Demons‘ club night and party, which specialises in banging techno with a large slice of raucous behaviour on the side. You’d usually find the pair causing trouble in Dublin’s favourite basement venue, Wigwam.
While we wait patiently for our normal lives to resume and the nightlife industry to slowly kick back into action, the pair have been busy in the studio working on this latest release, their first since April of this year. The release is a two track EP on Insane Industry Recordings and is a heavy hitting industrial number, full of distortions, hammers and darkness.
