Staff WriterWe came across a recording of the legends set from 1996 in Dublin’s 3 Arena, formerly and famously known as the Point Depot.
The 47 minute mix was taken from his set on the 3rd May 1996 in the legendary venue. We did some research to see if we could find out any more information about the gig, we discovered it was put together as part of the launch of the Heineken Green Energy Festival.
The festival began in 1996 and ran until 2008 when it finished with one of its biggest editions in Dublin Castle. It was one of the first festivals to take place in the City Centre and became known for it’s line ups and big international DJ’s.
They also released a compilation album as part of the celebrations and you can check it out here on Discogs.
