The UK producer made his long awaited return to radio last week with the beginning of a monthly residency on NTS that featured a two hour back to back with techno heavy weight James Ruskin. His latest production is a far cry from the hefty techno the pair delivered over the course of the two hour show.
‘Guardian Angel’ is a collaborative effort with vocalist Dawn that showcases yet another side to the DJ that we were yet to see as he experiments with live strings and piano to accompany the soft tones of the vocalist. While the track definitely features the weightless aspect we have come to expect from the ‘1 Sec’ producer, it’s a different interpretation of the already unique style. Listen to the new track below.
