Liam McGrathKerry born and Limerick based, SHEE has just graced our quarantined ears with another remix which he has kindly put up for free download.
SHEE is no stranger to most, with some massive and much loved releases as well as a massive amount of club and festival shows under his belt, you could say he’s one of Irelands most devoted and hard working. SHEE not only makes and plays tunes, but is also behind the Limerick based collectives Touch of Techno and Clique alongside Chaz Moloney.
SHEE released the tunes with the following statement addressing the current events and thanking his fans for their support.
As we are all well aware of this virus that has us locked up and worried, I decided to make an edit of possibly my favourite track of all time “Reflect – Need to Feel Loved”. I woke up yesterday with an idea to make this masterpiece into a more stripped back house edit. I never wanted to do too much to the original because as the saying goes “You can’t touch greatness”!
I’m giving this away for free, no bandcamp (thank you to all who are supporting me on that btw <3) to help bring some positivity into this strange time. this virus maybe tearing us apart currently, but music will keep us together, always.
finally, mind yourselves, your family, your grandparents, stay positive! we will all get through this <3
