Dublin producer and DJ Sage has once again delivered the goods, this time with brand new track ‘Daylight Blur’, which is forthcoming on the brand new Pear EP entitled ‘PAL Volume 1’.

The track features the signature sound we’ve come to love from the Subject resident; refined house, layered with a numerous synths and pads throughout.

After making his debut on Chicago label Tasteful Nudes as well as releasing on fellow Dublin label Jheri Tracks (said track ‘Tidy Wires’ made it into our top 10 Irish releases), this is both his debut release on Pear and his first of 2018.

His year was a success in terms of both his production and DJing with recent shows including support slots for DVS1, Omar S as well as sets in Cork with Jheri tracks and in Berlin with Belfast favourite Jordan. An NTS radio show alongside Throwing Shade was another highlight and more proof that he is well embedded within the European house scene and definitely one to watch on a global scale in the coming 12 months.

Pear closed out 2017 with some massive shows to coincide with an enormously successful dip into the world of releasing records. Ben UFO as well as Big Miz both played for the collective in Wigwam’s basement to follow up the release of the label’s first two EPs from Dubliner r.Kitt and the aforementioned Dixon Avenue Basement Jams artist Big Miz.

The full EP will be available tomorrow and can be purchased in store in All City records or online, and if you really can’t wait you can pre-order a copy right here.
