While the Patrúin’s Various Artist compilation has already been launched at the tail end of September, ending Direct Provision can never get enough press. If this excellent 14 track compilation was over looked, take a quick peek at it now.

MASI is the Movement of Asylum Seekers in Ireland, a platform for asylum seekers to unite, demanding an end to direct provision, the right to work and education, residency for all in the system, and an end to the brutal deportation regime.

The fundraiser, which is run by the Patrúin collective and label will donate all the profits from the release, with the funds going towards helping end the inhumane Direct Provision system in Ireland. You can find out more about MASI here.

The digital release features tracks from Sias, Ngoni Egan, DJ Après Ski, Rory Sweeney, Breen and Witch Trials to name but a few, covering anything from breaks, electro and techno, with plenty of ambient sounds and electronica completing the compilation.

You can pick up the full digital release for only €10, via Bandcamp here.

As well as 14 excellent tracks from a host of local talent, the collective are also selling a small range of tee shirts, with the funds also being donated to the same cause. The prints, which are designed by Mel Keane, can be purchased here.
