One of Dublin’s most underrated yet consistent producers Karl Guest has returned to the fore with his latest house track ‘Izuzu’, which is out now via the Suburban Belfast collective.

The newcomers to the Belfast scene have just booked Adryiano for a show in The Palm House this coming January with support coming from Karl himself and up-and-comer HYLO.

The track which is a stripped back number that doesn’t rely too heavily on drums sees the Toast resident incorporate more ambient sounds alongside an almost Fatima Yamaha-sounding synth. While it may not necessarily stick out as a club banger in comparison to his previous work, the track boasts an impressive range of production capabilities and shows a broader side to Guest that we have already come to expect from his diverse DJ sets.

Having recently supported the eclectic maestro that is Midland in the Button Factory not too long ago, as well as just being announced to play at The Building Society’s New Year’s Eve party in Wigwam, his Belfast debut alongside Adryiano and one of District 8’s closing parties with Harrison BDP, it’s fair to say the past few weeks have been fruitful for Guest who has been one of the most active individuals in Ireland for quite some time now in terms of both gigs around Dublin and beyond as well as his production efforts.
