Rob Smyth of Mix & Fairbanks returns with his solo alias of Telephony, releasing on UK label, Paradiso Records, featuring a very special remix from Man Power.

His Telephony alias takes inspiration from the sounds of late 80s Italian and Belgian electronic music – think big pads and hooky synth lines alongside an 80s dark synthwave backdrop.

His debut track, ‘Rockätansky’ on Paradiso Records, sets the pace for what’s to come from his solo career, a clear distinction from his italo-disco roots as part of Mix & Fairbanks. This track belongs to the world of new beat, dark disco and EBM influences, featuring an iconic remix from Newcastle producer, Man Power.
