The TRADE project [Surgeon & Blawan] is a completely live and improvised set up, where nothing has been prepared beforehand. Each performance starts at the beginning, totally from scratch, as the duo get to work with their modular synthesisers and hardware machines.
For this set, the duo played live in Dublin back in October of 2015, as Subject and Surge teamed up for a night of heavy-hitting techno in the former nightclub space of The Tivoli Theatre, with support coming from Irish Don, Sunil Sharpe and Dave Prior.
The live set recording is a little over an hour and is certainly one to reminisce over, or simply check out for the first time. It bangs hard.
