On Saturday, December 12th, a crew of DJs and promoters are coming together to raise funds for Cork Simon Community, a charity which helps the homeless all year round on the streets of our cities and villages all over the country.

Wanting to involve the music scene for this great cause, Eimear & Rory have put the minds together to build a solid 12 hours of talent, as they gather a selection of friends, DJs, promoters and Irish legends together for a very special live stream marathon on Saturday [December 12th], raising much needed funds for the Cork Simon Community.

“We decided to create this event ‘House for the Homeless’ to support the Cork Simon Community during these difficult times. Many of their regular fundraisers have been cancelled this year due to Covid-19, please support by donating what you can. You can help someone who is homeless, take the first steps towards a better life.

Your generosity could provide dinner this Christmas for someone in need, the chance to sit around a table and be among friends. The Cork Simon Community not only feed and shelter people in need, but also direct people towards different treatments and counselling. Please give someone the chance to make a new start for the New Year”.

Eimear & Rory have already smashed their initial target of raising €500 and are currently sitting at €935 in total, which is incredible, however, the more money they can raise between now and Saturday night the better. Follow House For The Homeless Instagram page here.

If you can spare a few Euro, you can donate to the House For The Homeless ‘Just Giving’ page here.
