Liam McGrathNext up we have ‘Notions’ resident Robbie Sullivan and Dublin based selector Daniel Keaveney with a 2 hour b2b mix.
This mix features everything from 110 bpm percussion and acid chuggers to hard drum, breaks, techno and banging electro, with a few random vinyl finds throughout.
Robbie Sullivan is a co-founder and resident at the monthly ‘Notions’ party that has been behind a string of sold out shows in Wigwam, Yamamori Tengu, The Button Factory and District 8 over the last 18 months. Sharing line ups with Kornel Kovacs and Fadi Mohem among others along the way. Daniel Keaveney is a Dublin based selector who has been collecting records for the last Four years. With guest appearances at both ‘Notions’ and ‘Elements’ nights, he has recently turned his attention towards mix-maxing to show off his extensive collection of Breaks, Electro and Techno.
The pair are preparing for the forthcoming launch of their new show – ‘Beats from the Basement W/ Robbie & Dan’, Which will be debuting on Dublin Digital Radio in the next month.
Featuring tracks from Yak, Pépe, Mr Assister, unreleased Soundbwoy Killah, Sansibar, Ole Mic Odd, Anunaku and Desert Sound Colony, it’s well worth a listen.
