We’re back with the 88th weekly episode of The Local Selection Mix series, this week we welcome Wexford native, DJ & promoter, Dyl Moore.

The Local Selection Mix Series is our weekly, flagship series in which we invite some local legends and rising talent to provide us with a mix of what they’re enjoying, listening to and playing out in clubs across the country. From newcomers to some of the founding names of the Irish scene, we deep dive to bring you the very best in Irish talent and highlight some of Ireland’s best DJ’s.

This week we host a melodic and progressive mix from Dylan Moore. Dylan is behind parties such as Subversive and is one half of the Imni brand.

Dyl has been building a reputable name for himself across Ireland for the last few years. Previously a resident of a collective in Dublin playing in venues like Hangar & Opium Rooms, he then went on to setup his own collective (Subversive) based in the rural southeast, Gorey being in hometown central hub. Dyl’s objective was to bring the party from Dublin, to more rural and less familiar surrounds, making it more accessible for people to party.

He has curated some of the biggest nights Wexford have seen in decades, along with becoming a resident in two of the country’s biggest venues, Project Waterford & Foundry Carlow, he has supported acts like T78, Mark Blair & Shampain. Dyl has also featured on festival line ups which ahve seen him warm up for Kerri Chandler & Hot Since 82 at Konnect Festival & gain a slot at Mass Festival.

Expect a progressive journey showcasing Dyl’s melodic roots that takes twists and turns through genres with samples layered over tracks. Check out our piece about the role Subversive play’s in Wexford nightlife here.
