Sam GreenwoodIt’s taken a while, but we finally have a Drum & Bass Local Selection mix. This has been on our radar for a while as there’s so many excellent DnB DJs in the country, but we tended to focus more on the four four sounds we are known for and most familiar with.
Saying that, we always have time for a quality DnB and Jungle mix, and it’s something we aim to give more time to in the future, giving some more variety to our Local Selection series.
Colm Brophy AKA B-Origin has been involved in the Dublin dance music scene for the last decade, earning his stripes at the famous club night Strangeways at Pod, as well as infamous club nights Bruce Willis and Smalltalk. He’s a familiar DJ on the festival circuit too, often found playing Life Festival, Fuinnneamh and Croatia’s Membrain Festival. Down the years he’s supported the likes of Marcus Intalex, Commix, Serum and Frea4knc, among others.
Colm runs a DnB and Jungle collective ‘Rise’, a much appreciate addition to the Irish scene. While the gigs are out of action, hopefully this mix will keep you going. Open the windows and crank this one up.
