From playing in his hometown clubs and parties, to having his music supported by some of the biggest DJs on the planet, it’s been a steady rise for the young Waterford producer.
For the last 3 years, the Alt8 moniker has been a regular name to feature up and down the country, featuring week in week out in his hometown of Waterford, to performing in nightclubs and Irish festivals all over the country.
While starting his musical career as ‘MARSHAL’ back in 2016, leaning slightly to the more commercial side of dance music, Alt8 has fine tuned his sound and production skill, giving life to his ever growing Alt8 alias, which has been on a rapid rise since its inception in 2017. The sound now pushes towards the more melodic sounds, tribal percussions and of course a heavy bassline techno, which you’ll hear within his mix.
The mix features two excellent tracks from Alt8, as both ‘Trancend’ and ‘Cristoball’ feature in this hour long mix.
So, as we get close to the magic 100th Local Selection, Alt8 steps in as our 99th mix of our nationwide series.
