Liam McGrathDäïre makes his addition to our Local Selection Mix series for its 71st edition.
Developing an interest in dance music whilst at university in Liverpool, and deciding to put the art of DJing into practice once home, Däïre has since exploded onto the Irish scene with sequences scattered with electro, breaks and bass. Recently starting his own record label / club night called TSRR with close friend PercBoi 3000 (Patrick Carser). Däïre has invited the likes of Anuaku (TSVI) to join him within his preferred rowdy, intimate settings, in addition to slots at Shine, Twitch, Beat BBQ, Pygmalion & AVA. Däïre also featured in Bicep’s highly respect Feel My Bicep mix series, showcasing an eye for diversity, versatility and a deep, un-yearning infatuation for digging and composing, including samples from 2001: A Space Odyssey, compositions from close friends and euphoria inciting heavy hitters from the local circuit and beyond. Däïre now looks to breach out from the locality of the capital, broadening his horizons with that of the international and European electronic music circuit and illustrating that the new school of Belfast can be just as exciting as the exceptional talents that have come before.
