Sam GreenwoodEach year SpaFax Airlines commission a number of artists for their in-flight mix series to be hosted across all international BA & Aer Lingus flights. From this month, they’ll include none other than Dublin DJ/Producer duo Long Island Sound with their “100% Unreleased Mix”.
They’ll appear alongside some of the biggest names in electronic music including Amelie Lens, with the likes of Grammy award winning producer Todd Edwards and La Fleur contributing previously.
February last year saw the pair perform their first ever Boiler Room after breaking through during their time in Berlin, with releases across Bobby Analog’s Body Fusion and Maribou State’s ‘fabric presents’ compilation, as well as invitations to contribute to Bicep’s Mix series and DJ Mag’s Fresh Kicks mix.
Available in-flight from April 1st 2021 until April 2022, the mix contains all original material from the duo, with a number of tracks pending release later this year, however, this mix sadly won’t be available online.
