By revealing its new June date and the campaign “A New World”, Melt Festival announces a fusion of the unique setting of Ferropolis and an even brighter diversity in the musical and social zeitgeist for its 23rd edition, which once again will stand out of the European festival calendar in 2021.

Last summer, more than 20,000 music connoisseurs celebrated the inimitability of Melt Festival, its artists and its visitors from all over the world. While feuilletons favorites such as Jorja Smith, Stormzy or Four Tet took over the main stages, the numerous smaller areas, specials, collectives – and above all the infamous Melt Forest – created a unique fusion of love, freedom and boundlessness, which can only be found in Ferropolis.

Next year, this world will already open up from 4 – 6 June 2021, as Melt will take place about a month and a half earlier than in the previous years. Between beautiful beaches and massive iron giants, Ferropolis will present itself in a setting never seen before, featuring brand new stages and areas, an even greater variety in booking and the on-the-ground-experience and many other surprises. True to the motto “A New World”, this new setting will reflect the uniqueness of Melt in all aspects of the festival, thus setting new standards for the 23rd edition. A world far away from any kind of borderline thinking, which allows the musical and social zeitgeist to melt with each other in boundless creativity.

Because as always: Melt remains exciting!

The official pre-sale for Melt Festival 2021 starts on 1 July via the official website at the constant fees. All tickets originally purchased for Melt Festival 2020 can also be carried over to the coming year with immediate effect.
