The opening set was recorded live at Singularity, where he flexes his muscles in this expertly crafted two-hour showcase on how to warm up one of the most iconic rooms in dance music history. It’s fair to say that 2025 has been a year of highlights for Aero, who has accumulated some fine accolades over the past twelve months. Supporting some of the finest artists that dance music has to offer in Helena Hauff, Blawan and Funk Assault. Multiple festival appearances this summer at Ealú le Grá, If You Know You Know, Beyond The Pale and Kriptik Festival, headline shows in Belfast and Derry, as well as a sold-out all-night long set at Tengu in Dublin in August.
He’s maintained a sincere level of consistency that has earned him these compelling opportunities, including this monumental Tresor outing. He also has a 4-hour New Year’s Day closing B2B with Dylan Fogarty to look forward to. They grace the DBA with acclaimed Manchester party Meat Free, which will see him start 2026 as he means to go on. Additionally, Aero has kept on top of his musical output, with some incredible releases on Soma, Bare Knuckle Records and a massive third EP on Planet Rhythm that has dropped throughout the year.
Seasoned DJs often discuss that mastering the opening is a skill in and of itself. Aero does a fantastic job in executing this. He builds the energy from the ground up. Patiently raising the tempo and allowing his tracks to breathe while not getting ahead of himself. These are all signs of an experienced DJ, and you can hear this as Aero lifts the mood, notably around the hour mark, where the mounting tension releases, to which he continues to build on in the final hour. Once again, an impeccable showcase of skill and selection from one of Ireland’s best techno artists. Essential listening, guaranteed.
