He is a DJ and producer who has remained fiercely dedicated and consistent to his craft for many years, churning out a steady flow of releases where each one feels like a natural progression and growth, not only from a sound perspective but also a showcase of his advancement as an artist. This is apparent through some fabulous releases on Planet Rhythm, Index Marcel Fengler and Blackaxon which all showcase this cohesive growth that incorporates classic sounding techno infused with modern production technique.
Generally speaking, people often associate artists as either a DJ or a producer, depending on which of the two that the individual in question may edge in quality. In this case, it is fair to say that Aero is very much a DJ as he is a producer and vice versa. Possessing the ability, swagger and appeal to be recognised as a DJs DJ along with such a strong discography is a truly difficult feat which Aero manages to balance eloquently, and this mix is a prime example of that. This recording is a solid display of the depth of Aero’s library that is pieced together ever so well with his timely and precise technique.
