Efa O’Neil has been going from strength to strength of late, playing a huge variety of gigs as her diverse selection offers new sounds to audiences young and old. Her live performances as part of experimental sound duo The Outside has also received great acclaim after a slew of sets last year. Her latest venture comes via AVA Festival’s legendary Boiler Room series where she showcasese what she’s been playing out of late.

Kerry native and Dublin based DJ and sound artist, Efa has been making waves in the electronic music circuit, best known for her eclectic and creative sets that combine her love for futuristic electronica with rave-era sounds. You can expect everything from italo disco to EBM, and everything in between.

Her versatile style has led her to play alongside a broad range of artists such as LSDXOXO, Avalon Emerson, Or:la, Sync24 and Prosumer. In addition to headlining club gigs and festivals throughout Ireland, she has made regular appearances on NTS London, Redlight Radio and Balamii. She also holds down a residency with ddr on her show and event of the same night, Out Of Space. 

Her Boiler Room at AVA mixes flawlessly through a hypnotic selection of techno as she consistently raises the energy throughout, giving the AVA attendees the perfect soundtrack to a sun drenched dance in the sun. She also throws in percussive breaks from the likes of Nikki Nair and Sam Binga, moving onto euphoric trance and closing with some brilliance courtesy of Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice.
