This week’s Mix of the Week comes from Leah Doyle’s recent opening set at Cellar where she supported Irish donk maestro Eugene McCauley. For our listening pleasure, she re-recorded the set which was best advised to listen on big bassy speakers! Lock in for this hour of smashing hardhouse, rave-tipped classics and meddling donk cuts from this fierce talent.

For this week’s Mix of the Week showcase we welcome Dublin-based DJ Leah Doyle as she flies through an array of deep-cut selections for her opening set at Eugene McCauley which took place at Cellar last week. The talented DJ began her journey three years ago under esteemed hard house legend Pierce Rooney at his music school RMS. Since then, Leah has played a range of shows in Belfast, Waterford and Dublin for respected parties like Research, Salvaged and Enigma where she has broadcasted her distinct sound in eloquent fashion.

Leah sets the scene perfectly with a flurry of deep-rooted tracks steeped in nostalgia predominantly from the early 90s straight through to the early 00s. Gliding through a fabulous selection of trance, hard house and more in the process. The recording over the hour builds an immense amount of tension and momentum that can be felt increasing over the 66 minutes. The set truly is filled with quality dance music tracks and is a crate digger’s dream. Do give this a listen, you certainly won’t be disappointed.
