Now on its 10th outing, Muintearas returns this August with a stacked club night and an important cause at its core. The event doubles as a fundraiser to support a young woman from Gaza, now living and studying in Ireland.
With a fundraising goal of €1,500, the team hopes to cover her rent and tuition through to graduation. Any additional funds raised will be donated to Daylight, a community-led social centre in Glasnevin currently in need of financial support.
Muintearas organiser and DJ Naoise welcomes a standout lineup of DJs, each bringing their own distinct energy to the party for this important fundraiser event.
On the night, Small Crab, a DJ and producer who is making waves within the dance music scene returns to Tengu. Small Crab is also a founding member of the Skin & Blister Collective, a platform uplifting female, trans, and non-binary creatives across music and the arts.
Lúnasa and Doubt will play a special B2B set on the night. The artists are known for their work behind the Stretch (Dublin) and Dose (Cork) parties respectively, the duo channel a percussive, bass-heavy sounds that are built for sweaty floors and dark venues.
After a year-long hiatus, Naoise returns to the decks for the midnight slot, fresh off recent appearances at HONEYPOT, Rathaus’ Trans Pride fundraiser, and supporting the fantastic Eoin DJ over Pride weekend.
Kicking off the night is MENACE, this year’s Forbidden Fruit Emerging Artist winner in collaboration with Skin and Blister and a name well worth showing up early for.
