We’ve very much missed this! A festival announcement in Ireland, an actual real life festival. It’s been one hell of a year, but the signs of recovery and light at the end of the tunnel are starting to shine through, as AVA festival announces their 2021 lineup.

AVA Fetsival leads the way forward for the return of the Electronic live event sector in Northern Ireland, with a programme shining a light on the best in local talent and International heavy weights; after a challenging 18 months for all of us we are excited to bring people together in celebration again.

In keeping with the ethos of AVA, the event promises an uncompromising approach to design, creativity and nourishment of homegrown music. The programme shines light on some of the best in Irish talent and International heavy weights, including FJAAK, Helena Hauff, KiNK, Jayda G, Carista, Optimo, Or:la, Hammer, Sunil Sharpe, Tommy Holohan, DART, Saoirse, Cailín, Carlton Doom and plenty more. Plus, there’ll be the usual full programme of art installations and music/art/culture.

Beyond the dancefloor, AVA will once again deliver a full programme of art installations and music/art/culture, chill spaces, local food traders, a new cocktail bar experience plus much more.

Festival Director & Founder, Sarah McBriar said: “We are thrilled to announce our return to Belfast at the end of September after one of the most challenging years the industry and society has ever faced. We aim AVA over the coming years, and September’s event is a very special taste of what is to come. The blank canvas at Boucher Road Playing Fields offers us exciting and endless opportunities. We have been working on the new site design for some time, incorporating the elements we believe will showcase the artists in the best way and make this year’s AVA experience unique.  The breadth of local and international artists in the line-up is testament to the successes and growth of previous years. We are proud to bring AVA to one of the best crowds in the world
