A festival, an actual real life dance music festival. After the turbulent 18 months the music industry endured, seeing a dance music festival being announcement in Ireland really is a tear in the eye moment.

The much loved BD Festival were the first out the blocks as the relaxation of regulations and covid protocols were announced. Last night the team began to tease out their Day Of The Dead lineup, which is due to take place on Sunday, October 24th [Bank Holiday].

The festival, which takes place in the idyllic settings of the Wicklow mountains, has welcomed thousands of party revellers to their site twice a year for as long as we care to remember, so seeing the team back in action after Covid ran its cause is a great sight.

The first three names out the hat to play Octobers ‘Day Of The Dead’ festival are Todd Terje, Ejeca and hip hop royalty Grandmaster Flash, with many, many more set to be announced in the coming days and weeks.

You can keep an eye on their Facebook page here, plus pick up tickets to the event here.
