Trinity College’s DJ Society, ‘DUDJ’ have announced another huge online event this year, as Australian Born DJ and producer Roza Terenzi joins them for an online production workshop event.

DUDJ have announced their second virtual guest of the year following their Tommy Holohan Q&A back in September. This time Trinity’s lucky dance music fans get to share an afternoon with Australian-born and Berlin-based DJ and producer Roza Terenzi on carving out your own originality as a producer.

Roza Terenzi has centred herself within the underground scene with a forward thinking sound that has combined cutting-edge production sensibilities with emotional motifs inspired by the overlooked dance music of the late 90s / early 2000s. Terenzi’s music has been described as ‘prime for interstellar communication’, and she rightfully has become a household name for anybody with their ear to underground dance music within the last while.

Terenzi has released 11+ EPs within the space of three years. These releases also include a spectacular debut album entitled ‘Modern Bliss’ on the Berlin based label Planet Euphorique. She also started her own imprint in 2020, ‘Step Ball Chain‘, which allows her to have her own outlet for some bouncy, trippy, breaky and more experimental tunes of hers.

The virtual event happening this Friday at 2pm with DUDJ will comprise of a talk with Terenzi, primarily to help you discover your own unique sound and style as a producer, plus a Q&A session to clear everything up and provide attendees with everything they need to know on the matter.

However, if you happen to be a Trinity Student you should 100% consider a sign up to DUDJ today for only €2. DUDJ are known for their in depth DJ tutorials and huge events, which will continue over the rest of the college year. Membership perks include discounts in Dublin’s record stores and club nights (when safe!). DUDJ have previously hosted huge events with some of Electronic Musics finest exports such as our own Tommy Holohan, Peggy Gou, Patrick Topping, New Jackson, Nicolas Jaar and many more. Keep updated with the event page here.

The talk will take place over Zoom this Friday [January 29th] at 2PM GMT.
