Galway’s Basement Project are set to host their biggest event of the year next weekend, as their annual St Patrick’s Yard Party takes place on the newly added Bank Holiday Friday at Club Áras Na Gael.

The event which runs from day to night with 2 stages of electronic music has sold out each previous year and is expected to this year. The limited capacity outdoor event sparks the first yard party for the collective in just under two years, due to covid restrictions and all the road blocks that came with the pandemic.

The courtyard sees the Galway based party enthusiasts present a sunshine filled day, sound-tracked by smooth sounds as their residents provide the finest cuts of disco, world, hip-hop, house party classics and more. As always the music will be flowing through their famous Funktion-One sound system to provide the ultimate yard party experience.

Taking over the outdoor stage for the day is Derek Carr, Lolz, TripdiscO & Ootep, while when it gets dark, the sounds head inside, as Belacqua, IXRQ (live) – Murch, Sam Greenwood and Shiv see out the days proceedings.

Expect great pints of Guinness, great tunes, plus an extremely wholesome party, as the collective, its dedicated crowds and artists all catch up for a great day of music and celebrations in Galway.
