Basement Project are back for their July installment as part of Ar Imeall Festival. The Basement Project Yard parties are always a big day on the summer calendar, and this year they’re pulling out all the stops. From a record fair to DJ workshops, the weekend is set to be much more than just a party.

For the day time adventurers you can expect to see Aras Na Gael’s yard transformed to a creative hotspot for all to be enjoyed. Pop in for some artisan food delivered via the locally sourced food stalls, and enjoy the art exhibition on display or browse the record fair or attend a DJ workshop facilitated by the mighty Gash Collective.

For purveyors of the night, the soundtrack will be provided by Galway’s own Lolz b2b with the excellent electro fiend Eliza. Dub merchant Welfare makes a welcome return to the city’s soundsystem, alongside a stacked lineup of over 10 DJs performing across their two stages in the club and the yard from the afternoon until late.

Stick this in the diary and if you’re Galway based get down and support the local crews, as this event is going to be excellent. You can pick up tickets here.
