Nathan ClareGlasgow’s LA LA is set to make her Irish debut in Wigwam on Tuesday the 27th of December, courtesy of Hilan. She will be joined by renowned Irish selector Collie and upcoming starlet Shauna Dee on the night. Be prepared to hear some of the finest house and disco selections that Ireland and Scotland have to offer.
La La has had a meteoric rise in recent years, becoming one of Scotland’s most sought after DJs due to her unique sound that blends an array of house and disco with airtight mixing techniques. Initially recognised as a promoter involved with the legendary Sub Club before making the move behind the booth and has since experienced significant success as a DJ and label boss.
Earning a residency at Edinburgh’s exemplary FLY Club for the past 6 years and picking up a weekly Rinse FM show, where she has had the opportunity to showcase and experiment a wide variety of dance music styles, LA LA continues to keep things fresh and funky. Not to mention some standout appearances at Circoloco, Amnesia and Hï Ibiza too.
LA LA’s dedication and passion remains apparent even as a label owner as she launched her own imprint ‘Brand New Records’, that aims to showcase releases from Scottish-only artists with its sister label ‘Sound As’ dedicated to releasing tracks from further afield.
On the night she is joined by Collie, one of Ireland’s most exceptional DJs who has had a massive year, as he made his Life Festival debut while accumulating support slots for artists such as X CLUB and Mella Dee in the process. Collie has the proficiency of a DJ that most people can merely dream of. Anytime he graces the booth it is a gift to the crowd, for those who are a fan of jaw dropping selections and killer technique throughout.
Joining LA LA and Collie on the line-up is Shauna Dee, who is a fast-rising artist who made appearances all across Dublin’s clubs this year, as well as a headline show in Cork and an impressive festival slot at this years Higher Vision. Possessing a dynamic musical pallet that ranges all across the dance music spectrum, this will certainly be a stellar show right from the off.
