As the world looks on to the war in Ukraine, communities join together in solidarity. The dance music community has been unresolvedly united in support of Ukraine, seeing artists, labels, promoters and fans come together to raise funds for much needed resources.

With the Covid19 pandemic still active and regulations fresh in recent memory, this latest atrocity has gone on to shock the world at a time when normality appeared to be resuming. This has caused a huge surge of humanitarian support and goodwill which, is fair to say, was likely underestimated by Russian forces.

Communities across the world have come together and the dance music community are pulling out every fundraising tool possible. From raising awareness, to donating music earnings and running events, there is a constant stream of goodwill to be found.

This is a time of reclaiming our nightlife and social circles, so it makes sense that fundraiser events are a great way to both socialise and raise money, which is exactly what the TUD DJ Society have done.

The event takes place over two rooms in the Soundhouse Dublin this April 4th. The lineup sees darkmavis, fresh off the back of a thunderous set in the seediest bathroom in Berlin, HÖR, return to head up an all Irish lineup featuring Project Radio’s Barney, Elaxendar, E-Volk, Aaron Brooks, Rico, SAZ and Ruanaidh.

The event will be donating 100% of proceeds to the Red Cross Ukraine Crisis Appeal, so get down, do your part and have some fun. You can pick up tickets here.
